There are a few advanced settings that can be configured after setting up your device. You can access the Advanced Settings option in the Trezor wallet by clicking on the name of your device and then clicking on the tab. Here you will be able to see some of the functions such as:
- Firmware version
- Disable PIN protection
- Check recovery seed
- Wipe Device
This function tells you the current version of your device firmware. You can check the firmware changelog for more information and updating the Trezor device firmware feature.
Here you can set up your passphrase protection. Check the Passphrase, Using Passphrase and the blog posts about the Passphrase of the wallet to find more information.
PIN Protection Disabling
Here you can disable your PIN protection but this is not recommended to do so. The protection reduces the risks that could occur if someone with physical access to your device could enter your cryptocurrency funds. Trezor asks you for your PIN each time that you will plug In your device but your computer cannot learn your PIN.
Recovery seed check
You can also run a simulated recovery check for your recovery seed. It is recommended that you do this before every update of your firmware.
This button allows you to wipe your device.
